Handstitched and hard lampshades

My lampshades are full of colour, life and stories. The fabric I use has been lovingly selected for its history, culture, technique and colour. Having studied textiles from all over the world I am keen to highlight interesting aspects of the materials I work with. My hard shades are hand cut and rolled so that the placement of pattern is perfect. I very rarely make two identical shades. My traditional shades are completely hand-sewn and with each stitch taut or rippled fabrics are drawn into beautiful new shapes.
